Manley 12224HTBCF-8 H-Tuff Series Connecting Rods 4340 Steel Bushed

Built for high-performance street and race applications, these rods deliver exceptional strength and reliability under elevated boost and high-horsepower conditions.

H-Tuff Series Design Advantages:

• Wider, heavier beam with increased cross-sectional thickness in all critical areas for superior rigidity
• Double-ribbed pin surround on the small end for enhanced resistance to twist and deflection
• Forged 4340 aircraft-quality steel — heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and 100% individually magnafluxed
• Perfectly round big and small end bores — no taper, bend, or twist
• Weight matched to ±1.5 grams per set for optimal balance
• ARP 2000 cap screws included (3/8" fasteners) for unrivaled tensile strength
• Bushed small end for use with full-floating wrist pins

The H-Tuff design delivers a stronger rod with a greater safety margin to handle elevated boost and higher power levels at a modest price premium over standard H-Beams. Manufactured to the same exacting quality-control standards and tolerances as all Manley connecting rods, the 12224HTBCF-8 is the ideal choice for serious power-adder builds demanding durability and precision.
