WeatherTech 8ARR01 Roof Basket Large 50.1" x 40.2" Rooftop Cargo Carrier

The WeatherTech Roof Basket Large is an American-made rooftop cargo carrier designed to maximize your vehicle's storage capacity for weekend getaways, camping trips, and family road adventures. With external dimensions of 50.1" x 40.2", this versatile carrier works perfectly on sedans and compact SUVs like the Ford Escape, Toyota RAV-4, and Honda CR-V.

Key Features:

• Constructed from high-strength plastic that won't rust, chip or corrode like metal roof carriers
• Tested to hold up to 175 lbs of cargo while weighing only 25 lbs
• Crash tested by an Independent Testing Lab and passed the ISO 11154 standard for roof racks
• Open-top design allows easy access from any angle for loading and unloading gear
• Includes four adjustable U-clamps for attachment to crossbars with different spacing and mounting points
• Expandable with optional Length Extender to add 9.4" for increased carrying capacity
• Designed, engineered and manufactured in America

The Roof Basket's open design makes it ideal for hauling suitcases, coolers, camping gear, tents, strollers, and bulky items that won't fit in traditional enclosed cargo boxes. Factory roof crossbars are required for installation (not included). Ratchet straps recommended to secure cargo properly.
