ARB BP5160070 Old Man Emu BP-51 Bypass Shock Absorber Rear

The ARB BP5160070 is an Old Man Emu BP-51 high-performance bypass shock absorber featuring a 51mm diameter bore and user-adjustable internal bypass technology. Developed and tested extensively in some of Australia's most rugged environments, this big bore, position sensitive bypass shock absorber with remote reservoir is designed to be fitted without any need for vehicle modification.

Key Features:

• 10 levels of compression and 10 levels of rebound adjustment for unmatched comfort and control both on and off road
• Unique extruded alloy body with internal passages that allow it to fit into tighter confines such as inside a coil spring
• External canister utilizes a floating piston to separate hydraulic fluid and gas without causing restriction on shock travel
• Greater levels of damping generated at each end of the stroke prevent harsh topping out and allow large bumps and corrugations to be easily absorbed
• Design combines considerable ride comfort around town with significant amounts of end-zone damping for exceptional chassis control and handling off road

Bypass shock absorbers have been used in off-road racing for many years and are renowned for their ability to handle the toughest terrain and endure through the harshest abuse. Old Man Emu suspension products carry a thirty six (36) month, 37,000 mile limited warranty.
