Fox Racing Shocks 987-62-001 Performance Series 2.5 Coilover IFP HTO Shock

The Fox Racing Shocks 2.5 Performance Series coilover shock is loaded with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to improve on and off-road performance. A type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and prevents corrosion, making this coilover shock ideal for demanding truck and SUV applications.

Key Features:

• 2.5-inch shock body features an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping
• Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology offers usable position-sensitive rebound damping control on and off the pavement, reducing harsh top-outs and increasing comfort
• Impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body with Type II clear-anodized plating
• 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft with high-flow velocity-sensitive damping
• Locking spring preload rings allow easy ride height and preload adjustment
• Vehicle-specific upper mount includes composite bushing that isolates noise and vibration

HTO is particularly beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and applications lifted higher than OEM specification. These shocks use race-proven damping control to provide a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling in even the toughest conditions. The coilover design includes a top-quality racing coil selected to deliver optimal spring rate for your application.
