The Manley 290330HX is a complete Small Block Chevy 434 CID rotating assembly kit built for high-compression, high-performance applications. This internally balanced stroker kit combines Manley's premium forged components into a precision-matched assembly, saving build time while ensuring all parts are optimally balanced together from the factory.
At its core, the kit features a Manley 4340 non-twist lightweight forged steel crankshaft with a 4.000" stroke and 350 main journals. The crank undergoes a rigorous finishing process including heat treatment, stress relief, shot peening, nitriding, and 100% Magna-Flux inspection for maximum strength and reliability.
The Manley 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods measure 6.000" in length and are secured with 7/16" ARP 2000 cap screws rated to 1,500 hp. Like the crankshaft, the rods are heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, nitrided, and 100% Magna-Fluxed to ensure race-proven durability.
Forged 2618 aluminum Platinum Series pistons at 4.155" bore diameter complete the rotating assembly. The entire kit is precision internally balanced in-house by Manley, reducing the time and cost of external balancing.
