Product Details

The Fabtech FT148 is a precision-engineered metal sleeve designed for use in Fabtech front shock extension assemblies. This component is a critical part of Fabtech's Gen 1 6-inch suspension lift systems for GM trucks and SUVs, working in conjunction with bushings to provide proper shock mounting and load distribution.

Key Features:

  • Precision metal sleeve for shock extension assemblies
  • Designed to work with FT1036 aluminum bushings
  • Used in Fabtech lift kit shock extensions
  • Provides proper alignment and support for shock mounting hardware
  • Ensures secure fitment between shock brackets and extensions

This sleeve is pressed into the shock extension along with the aluminum bushings during installation. It serves as the inner support structure that the mounting bolt passes through, maintaining proper spacing and preventing bushing compression. The FT148 sleeve is commonly included in Fabtech lift kit hardware packages and is also available separately as a replacement part.

Prices are among the lowest around. Had a change with my order. Customer support team was quick to respond to emails and make corrections. Will order from Autoplicity again.

Great price, good e-mail communication and fast shipping. Positive experience with Autoplicity so far.

Prices are great on this site. The layout and checkout process are easy to use; Google checkout is definitely a plus. Shipping could be a little faster, especially if they had drop ships from their supplies for items not currently in stock. Overall good service and no problems.
