Michelin 579825 XAS 165VR15 N0 Radial Tire Classic Porsche

The Michelin XAS 165VR15 radial tire carries the prestigious N0 validation from Porsche, making it an approved tire for use on classic Porsche sports cars. This tire was original equipment on 1965 through 1967 Porsche 911, and was also used on Porsche 912 and 914 models. The tire features the famous asymmetrical tread pattern and all of the correct sidewall markings, including the N0 stamp on the sidewall.

Key Features:

• V speed rating for safe service up to 149 miles per hour (240 kilometers per hour)
• Revolutionary asymmetric tread design where different areas of the tire serve entirely different roles for improved performance
• Enhanced stability and road holding when cornering thanks to asymmetrical tread sculpture
• Dual-ply sidewall construction with polyester casing, twin steel belts, and nylon reinforcement for handling response and high-speed durability
• Tubeless design, but may run a tube if wheels require it
• Blackwall sidewall style with period-correct aesthetics

The 165R15 sizing on this Michelin XAS N0 code tire can be used on many Porsche models, dating all the way back to the 356, which originally came with 560-15 bias ply tires. Using modern materials and manufactured to original specifications, these tires are manufactured in small batches and designed to preserve the vehicle's driving character and provide period-correct aesthetics.
