The COMP Cams 310203001 Xtreme Energy hydraulic flat tappet lifter (also called a lifter or tappet) has a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated face. It is a lower-cost alternative to hard-to-find traditional iron flat-tappet lifters.

  • Hydraulic flat tappet design from the Xtreme Energy DLC series
  • DLC face is very hard and tough. Its high lubricity reduces friction where the cam lobe meets the lifter.
  • The coating extends lifter and camshaft life and lowers the chance of a flattened cam lobe.
  • Works with both steel and cast-iron camshafts
  • Durability tested on a Spintron, simulating entire racing seasons
