Fox Racing Shocks 987-24-049 Performance Series 2.5 Smooth Body IFP HTO Rear Shock

The Fox Racing Shocks 987-24-049 is a Performance Series 2.5 smooth body rear shock absorber. It is a bolt-on suspension upgrade with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design and Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology. Fox designed it to improve both on-road comfort and off-road control.

• 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body
• Type II clear-anodized body plating that resists corrosion and dissipates heat
• Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design that keeps the oil and nitrogen separated to limit aeration
• Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) uses a secondary shim stack to slow rebound at full extension and soften top-out
• High-flow, velocity-sensitive damping
• 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft
