The QA1 HS01-12200 Proma Star Coilover Strut Kit is a complete front suspension upgrade engineered for Fox Body Mustang owners who want genuine performance on the street without sacrificing everyday drivability. Featuring a custom-tailored 200 lb/in spring rate and purpose-built strut valving, this kit is designed to deliver an exceptional balance of ride quality and handling precision.

At the heart of the Proma Star system is its inverted cartridge strut design. Unlike conventional struts, the large-diameter shaft resists side loading, resulting in smoother, more consistent performance during hard cornering and braking. The lightweight aluminum strut body reduces unsprung weight, improving suspension responsiveness for better handling and traction in all driving conditions.

The single-adjustable coilovers feature an 18-position rebound adjustment knob located at the top of the strut tower — easily accessible under the hood. A single turn of the knob simultaneously adjusts compression and rebound damping, making it simple to dial in your preferred ride character without tools. Ride height is fully adjustable from stock down to 2 inches lower via a threaded collar, allowing you to set the perfect stance for street or occasional track use.

Included aluminum caster/camber plates are significantly lighter than steel alternatives, feature a durable anodized finish for corrosion resistance, and allow precision adjustment of suspension geometry to improve handling and minimize tire wear. The fully bolt-in design requires no permanent modifications, and compatibility with both wide and narrow Fox Body spindles ensures a correct fit across the application range.
