QA1 Precision Products 8Q9-DRY-6PK 8Q Series Small Body Dry Shock Six Pack 9-Inch Stroke Twin Tube

The QA1 8Q9-DRY-6PK is a six-pack of "dry" shocks that includes parts to build six new shocks, offering a cost-effective solution for custom valving applications. Formerly known as the 80 Series, the 8Q Series is an aluminum small-body shock available in bearing mount configurations. This 9-inch stroke version offers maximum travel for demanding racing applications.

What's Included:

• Gas bags, seal packs, pistons, piston rods and more
• Components to build six complete shocks

Key Features:

• Rebuildable twin-tube design delivers the performance, consistency and tunability racers demand
• Threaded body makes it easy to use in coil-over configurations with QA1 kits (sold separately)
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Pistons made of high-quality raw aluminum to maximize consistency
• Maximized tunability—valve with bleed shims or drill out bleeds
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read
• Delivers all the performance of QA1's proven large-body shocks in a more compact package

Important Notes:

• Six packs DO NOT include bleed shims and require a tuning kit
• Closure nut wrench and QA1 SF16 shock oil required to complete builds (sold separately)

Ideal for circle track racing, road racing, and high-performance street applications where custom shock tuning is essential for optimal handling and consistency.
