QA1 8Q7-DRY-6PK 8Q Series Small Body Aluminum Dry Shock Six Pack Twin Tube 7in Stroke

The QA1 8Q7-DRY-6PK is a six-pack of small-body aluminum dry shocks from QA1's 8Q Series, engineered for circle track racers who demand consistent, tunable performance. This cost-effective six-pack provides all the components needed to build six new shocks with custom valving.

What's Included:

• Six sets of gas bags, seal packs, pistons, piston rods, and more
• Twin-tube shock configuration with 7-inch stroke
• Linear valving for predictable, consistent damping

Note: Six packs do not include bleed shims and require a separately purchased tuning kit. A closure nut wrench and QA1 SF16 shock oil are also required to complete the builds.

8Q Series Key Features:

• Small aluminum body — formerly known as the 80 Series — available in bearing mount configurations
• Threaded body design for easy coil-over setup using QA1 coil-over kits (sold separately)
• Two-piece body construction simplifies disassembly and reassembly in minutes with basic tools
• Gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding during assembly
• Upgraded seals minimize leaks, especially in high-rebound racing applications
• Compression tube uses a slip-fit design to speed up rebuilds
• Scalloped base loop increases clearance in tight areas such as upper control arms and shock mounts
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons maximize consistency
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read at the track
• Valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds for maximum tunability

The 8Q Series delivers all the performance of QA1's proven large-body shocks in a more compact, lightweight package — an ideal choice for lightweight racing classes or applications where clearance is critical.
