QA1 Precision Products 8Q65 Small Body Twin Tube Shock Absorber Stroke - 3 Inch

The QA1 8Q65 is a high-performance rebuildable twin-tube shock absorber designed to deliver the consistency, tunability, and reliability that racers demand. Formerly known as 82 series shocks, the 8Q series is an aluminum small-body shock available in bearing mount configurations. This particular model features a 3-inch stroke with 5C/5R valving for optimized damping performance.

Key Features:

• Threaded body makes it very easy to use in coil-over configurations with QA1 kits (sold separately)
• The 8Q offers all the performance of QA1's proven large body shocks in a more compact package. The smaller outside diameter makes this shock a great option for lightweight classes or applications where clearance is an issue
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Pistons are made of high-quality raw aluminum to maximize consistency
• Rebuildable twin-tube design for long-term serviceability
• Aluminum construction for reduced weight without sacrificing strength
• Bearing mount configuration for smooth operation

The 8Q65 is ideal for circle track racing, drag racing, road racing, and high-performance street applications where space constraints demand a compact shock without compromising performance. The rebuildable design ensures you can maintain peak performance throughout the racing season.
