QA1 Precision Products 8Q41-3 8Q Series Twin Tube Small Body Circle Track Shock 4 Inch Stroke

The QA1 8Q41-3 is a rebuildable twin tube shock absorber designed specifically for circle track racing applications. This small-body aluminum shock delivers the performance, consistency, and tunability that racers demand in a compact, lightweight package.

Key Features:

• Aluminum small-body construction with threaded body for easy coil-over configurations
• 4-inch stroke with 13.75-inch extended length (9.63-inch compressed length)
• 1C/3R valving (1 compression, 3 rebound) for precise tuning
• Eyelet mounting configuration for versatile installations
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes valving and serial numbers easy to read at the track
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons maximize consistency
• Upgraded seals minimize leaks, especially in high-rebound applications
• Slip-fit compression tube design simplifies rebuilds

Rebuildable and Tunable:

The 8Q Series can be re-valved and rebuilt by racers in minutes using basic tools and available rebuild kits. The gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding during assembly. Racers can valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds for maximum tunability.

Applications:

Formerly known as the 82 Series, the 8Q offers all the performance of QA1's proven large-body shocks in a more compact package. The smaller outside diameter makes this shock an excellent choice for lightweight racing classes or applications where clearance is an issue. Perfect for circle track racing where rules specify small-body shocks.
