QA1 Precision Products 6Q73-6 Twin Tube Circle Track Shock 13.38" Aluminum

The QA1 6Q73-6 is part of the 6Q Series, formerly known as the 60 and 62 Series, representing a high-performance aluminum large-body shock designed specifically for circle track racing applications. This shock features a threaded body that seamlessly integrates with QA1 coil-over kits (sold separately), making it an ideal choice for racers who demand precision and adaptability. With a 7-inch stroke and 13.38-inch collapsed length, this bearing mount shock delivers the performance and tunability needed to compete at the highest levels.

Key Features:

• Rebuildable twin tube design offers the performance, consistency and tunability racers demand
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons maximize consistency
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Two-piece body makes it simple to disassemble and reassemble shocks
• Gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port, making shocks easy to fill and bleed on assembly
• Can be valved with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability
• Re-valved and rebuilt by racers in a matter of minutes using basic tools
• 3C/6R valve configuration (3 compression, 6 rebound)

This non-adjustable shock is engineered for circle track racing on both dirt and asphalt surfaces. The twin tube construction provides excellent track feel and grip, making it particularly effective in low-grip conditions. An upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks—especially in high-rebound applications—while the compression tube uses a slip fit design to simplify the rebuild process. Perfect for late model and modified racing applications where rules and packaging require a specific shock configuration.
