QA1 6Q5R-DRY-6PK 6Q Series Dry Shock Six Pack 5-Inch Stroke Twin Tube

The QA1 6Q5R-DRY-6PK is a six-pack of dry shock components designed for racers who demand maximum tunability and performance. This kit includes parts for six complete shocks—gas bags, seal packs, pistons, piston rods, and more—offering a cost-effective solution for custom valving applications. Six packs do not include bleed shims and require a separate tuning kit.

6Q Series Twin Tube Design:

The 6Q series is an aluminum large-body shock, formerly known as the 60 and 62 series. The threaded body makes it ideal for coil-over configurations with QA1 kits (sold separately). This particular model features a 5-inch stroke length and is equipped with adjustable rebound valving, indicated by the "R" designation in the part number.

Racer-Friendly Features:

• Rebuildable and re-valvable in minutes using basic tools
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons maximize consistency
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read
• Valve with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability

What's Included:

This dry shock six-pack provides all the internal components needed to build six complete 5-inch stroke 6Q series shocks. Note that shock oil (QA1 SF16 recommended) and a closure nut wrench are sold separately and required for assembly.

Ideal for circle track racing applications where custom valving and consistent performance are critical. The 11.38-inch collapsed length makes this shock suitable for various racing chassis configurations.
