QA1 6Q55-6 Twin Tube Circle Track Shock 5in Stroke Aluminum Coilover

The QA1 6Q55-6 is a high-performance twin tube circle track shock designed for serious racers who demand consistency and tunability. Formerly known as 60 and 62 series shocks, the 6Q series is an aluminum large-body shock featuring a 5-inch stroke and 16.25-inch extended length with eyelet bearing mounts. This shock is pre-valved with 5C/6R (5 compression, 6 rebound) settings optimized for circle track applications.

Key Features:

• The threaded body makes it very easy to use in coil-over configurations with QA1 kits (sold separately)
• The scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Pistons are made of high-quality raw aluminum to maximize consistency
• The gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port, making shocks easy to fill and bleed on assembly
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nuts make serial numbers and valving easy to read at the track or in the shop
• 2-inch threaded body diameter for compatibility with standard coilover springs

Rebuildable and Re-Valvable:

• 6Q shocks can be re-valved and rebuilt by racers in a matter of minutes using basic tools
• You can valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability
• Two-piece body design simplifies disassembly and reassembly
• Compatible with QA1 rebuild kits (sold separately)

Ideal for Late Models, Asphalt Modifieds, Sprint Cars, and other circle track racing applications where precise suspension control is critical. The 6Q55-6 delivers the performance and adjustability racers need to dial in their setup at the track.
