QA1 5Q933-8 Large Body Twin Tube Circle Track Shock 3C/8R

The QA1 5Q933-8 is a large body steel shock from the 5Q series (formerly known as 51 and 53 series), designed for circle track racing with stock mount configuration. This twin tube shock features 3C/8R valving for optimized compression and rebound control at the track.

Key Features:

• Black zinc coating ensures a consistent finish and creates a tight seal every time
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons minimize variations found in anodized parts
• Valve with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability
• Two-piece body design makes disassembly and reassembly simple
• Gland features relief cuts and hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding
• Upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks, especially in high-rebound applications
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read

Racers can rebuild and re-valve these shocks in minutes using basic tools and available tuning kits. The steel body shock can be used in coil-over configurations using appropriate QA1 kits (sold separately). Ideal for GM mid-size circle track applications where consistency, tunability, and quick maintenance are essential.
