QA1 Precision Products 5Q9-DRY-6PK 5Q Series Dry Shock Six Pack Twin Tube 9in Stroke

The QA1 5Q9-DRY-6PK is a six pack of dry shocks that includes parts to build six new shocks, offering a cost-effective solution for racers who want to use custom valvings. The 5Q series is a large body shock available in bearing mount configurations, formerly known as the 51 and 53 series shocks. Each pack includes gas bags, seal packs, pistons, piston rods and more.

Key Features:

• Shocks can be re-valved and rebuilt by racers in minutes using basic tools, with two-piece bodies that make disassembly and reassembly simple
• Gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding during assembly
• Upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks, especially in high-rebound applications, while the compression tube uses a slip fit design to simplify rebuilding
• Pistons made of high-quality raw aluminum to minimize variations found in anodized parts
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read
• Black zinc coating ensures a very consistent finish, creating a tight seal every time

Important Notes:

• Six packs DO NOT include bleed shims and will require the appropriate tuning kit to build your shocks
• Additional items needed: closure nut wrench and QA1 SF16 shock oil
• Steel body shocks can be used in coil-over configurations using the appropriate kits (sold separately)

QA1's rebuildable twin tube shocks deliver the performance, consistency and tunability that racers demand.
