QA1 5Q7RLD-DRY-6PK Adjustable Twin Tube Shock Six Pack 7-Inch Stroke

The QA1 5Q Series Dry Shock Six Pack offers a cost-effective solution for racers who want to build six new shocks with custom valving capabilities. Formerly known as 51 and 53 series shocks, the 5Q series is a large body steel shock available in both bearing mount and stock mount configurations. This adjustable model features a 7-inch stroke with linear digressive piston valving and rebound adjustment capability.

Key Features:

• Six pack includes gas bags, seal packs, pistons, piston rods and more
• Body Diameter: 2-1/16 inches
• Steel body construction with black zinc finish
• Twin tube design with bearing mount configuration
• Rebound adjustable piston rods allow valving adjustments at the track
• Linear digressive piston valving
• Base valve equipped, non-gas charged

Race-Ready Engineering:

• Two-piece bodies make disassembly and reassembly simple, with gland relief cuts and hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding
• Upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks in high-rebound applications
• Black zinc coating ensures consistent finish and tight seal
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons minimize variations
• Valve with bleed shims or drill out bleeds for maximum tunability
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read

These steel body shocks can be used in coil-over configurations using appropriate QA1 kits (sold separately), and racers can rebuild and re-valve their own shocks using available tuning and rebuild kits. Popular applications include Street Stock, Hobby Stock, B-Mod/Sport Mod, and Modified racing classes.
