• Rebound adjustable piston rod allows for trackside valving adjustments
• Two-piece body construction simplifies disassembly and reassembly for quick maintenance
• Upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks, especially in high-rebound applications
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read
• Black zinc coating ensures consistent finish and tight seal integrity
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight mounting areas
• Compression tube uses slip fit design to simplify rebuild process
• Compatible with coil-over configurations using appropriate kits (sold separately)

Formerly part of the 51 and 53 series lineup, the 5Q series shocks can be re-valved and rebuilt by racers in minutes using basic tools. The gland features relief cuts and a hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding during assembly. High-quality raw aluminum pistons minimize variations, and racers can valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability. Ideal for Street Stock, Hobby Stock, B-Mod/Sport Mod, and Modified racing applications on dirt and asphalt tracks.
