QA1 5Q73-5 Twin Tube Circle Track Shock Absorber 7-Inch Stroke Steel Body Bearing Mount

The QA1 5Q Series is a large body steel shock designed for circle track racing applications, featuring a 7-inch stroke length and 3 compression/5 rebound valving. Formerly known as the 51 and 53 series, this rebuildable twin tube shock is built with a bearing mount configuration for precise suspension control on the track.

• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight areas like upper control arms and shock mounts
• Pistons made of high-quality raw aluminum, minimizing variations found in anodized parts

Racers can rebuild and re-valve their own shocks using available tuning and rebuild kits. QA1's steel body shocks can be used in coil-over configurations using the appropriate kits (sold separately). You can valve the shock with bleed shims or drill out bleeds to maximize tunability.
