QA1 Precision Products 5Q68-DRY-6PK 5Q Series Circle Track Dry Shock Six Pack 8in Stroke Steel Twin Tube

The QA1 5Q68-DRY-6PK is a six-pack of circle track racing shocks from QA1's proven 5Q Series. These are rebuildable steel twin-tube shocks designed specifically for circle track racing applications where precision damping control is critical for performance.

Key Features:

• Zero gas pressure design with premium internals provides maximum grip on slick tracks
• Twin tube 2-1/16" big body diameter construction with eyelet bearing-mounts
• Two-piece bodies make disassembly and reassembly simple for quick rebuilds
• Pistons made of high-quality raw aluminum minimize variations for consistent performance
• Black zinc coating ensures consistent finish and tight sealing
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight mounting areas
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes valving and serial numbers easy to read
• Gland features relief cuts and hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding

DRY Configuration: These shocks are shipped dry (without oil or gas) allowing racers to custom valve and fill them according to their specific track conditions and setup requirements. Shocks can be valved with bleed shims or by drilling out bleeds to maximize tunability.

Racing Applications: The 5Q Series excels on average to dry-slick dirt and asphalt tracks where traction is limited. Can also be used as an axle wrap-up shock in pullbar applications. Steel body shocks can be used in coil-over configurations using appropriate QA1 kits (sold separately).

5Q shocks can be re-valved and rebuilt by racers in minutes using basic tools, making them ideal for teams that need to make quick adjustments at the track. This six-pack configuration provides excellent value for teams running multiple shocks or needing spares.
