QA1 Precision Products 5Q584 Twin Tube Large Body Circle Track Shock Absorber

The QA1 5Q584 is a large body twin-tube steel shock absorber engineered for circle track racing applications. Part of the 5Q Series (formerly known as 51 and 53 series), this shock features a robust steel construction with stock mount configuration designed to deliver consistent, rebuildable performance at the track.

Key Features:

• Large body twin-tube steel construction for durability and heat dissipation
• Two-piece body design allows for simple disassembly and reassembly
• Laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read
• Upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks, especially in high-rebound applications
• Compression tube uses slip fit design to simplify the rebuild process
• Gland features relief cuts and hyper screw port for easy filling and bleeding during assembly
• Black zinc coating ensures consistent finish and tight seal every time
• Scalloped base loop increases clearances in tight mounting areas
• High-quality raw aluminum pistons minimize variations found in anodized parts
• Fully revalveable and rebuildable by racers using basic tools in minutes

The 5Q Series shocks can be valved with bleed shims or drilled bleeds to maximize tunability for specific track conditions. These steel body shocks can also be used in coil-over configurations when paired with appropriate conversion kits (sold separately). Designed and manufactured by QA1 for serious circle track racers who demand consistent performance and the ability to service their own equipment.
