QA1 27946-8C 27 Series Monotube Shock Absorber 9.4in./14.0in. Stud/T-Bar Hyperscrew

The QA1 27946-8C is a 27 Series large steel monotube shock absorber designed for circle track racing applications. Featuring a stud top mount and T-bar bottom mount, this shock fits a variety of stock-mount race car configurations and delivers consistent, repeatable damping performance on both dirt and asphalt tracks.

Key Features:

• 27 Series monotube design with Hyperscrew gas pressure port for easy servicing by QA1 or authorized rebuilders
• Zinc-plated steel body for superior corrosion resistance
• 46mm hard-anodized piston for precise, fade-resistant damping control
• Digressive 6-8C valving — 6 compression / 8 rebound — tuned for controlled suspension response at varying shaft speeds
• Compressed height: 9.40 in. | Extended height: 14.0 in.
• Stud top / T-bar bottom mounting configuration for stock-mount applications
• 100% dyno tested and serialized at QA1's Lakeville, MN facility
• Made in the USA

The 27 Series is a popular choice for street stocks, hobby stocks, mini stocks, and other sanctioned classes requiring a stock-mount shock. Its deflective disc valving design allows complete control of suspension at low shaft speeds without generating excessive forces at high shaft velocities, giving drivers better feel and more consistent handling lap after lap.
