QA1 26A72-12C 26 Series Monotube Shock Absorber IMCA Sealed Hyperscrew Eye/Eye 2-12C Valving

The QA1 26A72-12C is a 26 Series large steel monotube shock absorber featuring a sealed Hyperscrew configuration that is IMCA legal. With a compressed height of 13.40 inches and an extended height of 20.63 inches, this shock is built for demanding race applications and delivers consistent, tunable performance on a variety of track surfaces.

Featuring an eyelet top and eyelet bottom mounting configuration (Eye-B/Eye-B) with a 2-12C valving (V2-12C), this shock is precision-engineered for racers who need reliable, repeatable damping characteristics. The sealed Hyperscrew design keeps nitrogen gas pressure locked in — adjustable only by QA1 or a QA1 Authorized Rebuilder in compliance with sanctioning body and track rules.

Key Features:

• 2-inch O.D. zinc plated steel monotube body for corrosion resistance and durability
• Sealed Hyperscrew (IMCA Legal) nitrogen pressurization — gas pressure is sealed and sanctioning-body compliant
• Deflective disc valving for precise, consistent damping response
• Compressed height: 13.40 inches | Extended height: 20.63 inches
• Mounting: Eyelet top / Eyelet bottom (Eye-B/Eye-B)
• Valving: 2-12C (V2-12C)
• Popular choice for modifieds, late models, super stocks, and similar racing classes
• Performs well on rough dirt tracks, as an easy-up shock on dirt cars, and on bumpy asphalt tracks across all banking types

The QA1 26 Series is a proven one-piece monotube shock trusted by racers at all levels for its adaptability across track conditions and traction shock applications.
