The Skyjacker C140BKSD8-N is a complete 4-inch Softride suspension lift system designed for 1988–1991 GM 3/4-ton Suburban and related full-size truck platforms. This comprehensive kit combines Skyjacker's proven Softride leaf spring technology with Nitro 8000 series shock absorbers, delivering increased ride height along with improved off-road capability and on-road comfort.

Skyjacker's Softride leaf springs are engineered with tapered leaves that yield a lower spring rate and greater suspension travel compared to conventional multi-leaf designs. Teflon wear pads reduce interleaf friction, bolt-style clips minimize leaf noise, and shot-peened steel increases tensile strength and long-term durability.

The included Nitro 8000 series shock absorbers feature 150 PSI pressurized nitrogen gas, twin-tube construction, and true velocity-sensitive valving that responds instantly to changing terrain. A 14mm chromed piston rod and bonded iron piston provide exceptional durability, while red polyurethane bushings and a protective boot are included.
