Product Details

The Maxtrac Suspension 949942V is a complete front and rear Vulcan Series IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shock absorber kit designed for vehicles running a 4.5-inch lift.

Key Features:

  • Complete Kit: Includes both front and rear Vulcan Series shocks for a full suspension upgrade
  • Internal Floating Piston (IFP) Design: Separates oil from nitrogen gas to prevent aeration and foaming, ensuring consistent damping performance
  • 4.5" Lift Valved: Specifically valved and sized to work with 4.5-inch lift applications for proper suspension travel and geometry
  • Vulcan Series Construction: Heavy-duty monotube shock body designed for improved heat dissipation and durability over OEM-style twin-tube units
  • Improved Ride Control: Delivers controlled, responsive damping over varied terrain whether on- or off-road
  • Direct Bolt-On Fitment: Engineered for straightforward installation on compatible lifted vehicles

Maxtrac Suspension's Vulcan Series IFP shocks are built to handle the demands of lifted trucks and SUVs, offering a significant upgrade in damping technology over standard replacement shocks. The 949942V kit is ideal for enthusiasts seeking improved performance and ride comfort after a 4.5-inch suspension lift installation.

Seems to have worked so far

So far so good

Excellent service! Fast shipping and a great price. I couldn't be happier!

My product was shipped fast

The order itself was great, exactly what I needed for a great price. The shipping however was dismal. I had paid for 2 day shipping but received it after 7 days. After contacting customer service, the issue was resolved quickly and money refunded for the shipping charge. Great CS and place to shop.

Very good service
