ARB MT64601015R Old Man Emu MT64 Monotube Shock Absorber 23 Inch Medium Right

The ARB Old Man Emu MT64 Monotube Shock Absorber represents the ultimate all-around damping solution for 4x4 and SUV applications. Engineered by ARB's renowned suspension team, this shock absorber features a massive 64mm (2.5-inch) internal bore—one of the largest monotube designs on the market—providing exceptional oil capacity and superior heat dissipation for consistent performance.

Key Features:

• 64mm monotube design with increased oil volume for reduced fade and improved temperature management
• Anodized aluminum body dissipates heat up to 15 times faster than steel while weighing 1.3 times less
• 22.5mm hard chrome-plated piston rod for exceptional strength and stability
• Natural rubber bushings provide superior noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compliance
• Forged 6061 aluminum body caps for increased strength and heat dissipation
• Medium valving specifically tuned for balanced on-road comfort and off-road capability
• 3-year warranty backed by ARB's global support network

The MT64 bridges the gap between ARB's proven Nitrocharger twin-tube shocks and the race-inspired BP-51 bypass shocks, offering overlanders and daily drivers alike the perfect combination of comfort, control, and durability. The large internal bore allows engineers greater tuning flexibility, resulting in a damper that performs exceptionally well with added weight from accessories and cargo while maintaining smooth, controlled ride quality for long-distance driving.
