Diode Dynamics DD8021 SSC1 SAE Type GBS LED Fog Light Kit White SAE Fog

The Diode Dynamics DD8021 SSC1 SAE Type GBS LED Fog Light Kit is a complete bolt-on replacement LED fog light solution in cool white (6000K). Featuring custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics paired with a high-power LED chip, this kit delivers road-legal SAE-compliant output in a compact, factory-style package — only much brighter than stock.

Unlike traditional reflector or simple lens optics that scatter light and lose efficiency, the SSC1's TIR optic collects all emitted light from the LED and directs it precisely where needed, drastically reducing glare while maximizing usable output. The custom-molded TIR optic also functions as the outer lens itself, eliminating the typical 10% light loss caused by a secondary outer lens.

The SAE Fog beam pattern provides an extremely wide field of view with high-intensity output over a broad spread, meeting the SAE J583 Foglamp standard for legal on-road use when installed and aimed per local regulations.

Key Features:

• SAE-compliant road-legal output — meets SAE J583 Foglamp standard
• Advanced TIR optics — maximum efficiency, focus, and total light output
• Cool white 6000K output — matches factory LED lighting
• Amber backlight functionality — SSC1 backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic for a distinctive accent light
• Plug-and-play installation — two DT adapter wires included; connects directly to factory bulb sockets with no additional wiring needed
• Bolt-on fitment — custom-molded GBS-type bracket with one-piece 3D-printed bezel for a clean, factory-style appearance
• Engineered and assembled in the USA
