Fox Racing Shocks 987-24-039 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO Shock 10.1" Standard Travel

The Fox Racing Shocks 987-24-039 is a 2.5-inch Performance Series smooth body shock featuring Internal Floating Piston (IFP) technology and Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) for superior on-road comfort and off-road performance. This universal application shock is designed with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to dramatically improve damping capacity and ride quality.

Key Features:

• 2.5-inch impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum shock body with Type II anodizing for efficient heat dissipation and corrosion resistance
• Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas, optimizing damping performance and preventing aeration
• Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology provides position-sensitive rebound damping control, reducing harsh top-outs and increasing comfort
• 10.1-inch standard travel with eyelet end mounts for versatile installation options
• Race-proven damping control tuned for predictable handling in the toughest conditions
• Includes hardware: washers, bushings, and mounting nuts

The HTO technology forces shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed at full extension, making it particularly beneficial for vehicles with heavier aggressive tires or lifted applications. The aluminum body construction dissipates heat significantly faster than conventional steel shocks, ensuring consistent performance during extended use. Backed by Fox Racing's one-year limited warranty against defects and premature failure.
