Firestone 012709 FS561 11R22.5 Commercial Truck Tire 144/142L 14-Ply

The Firestone FS561 is an all-position radial tire designed with special tread compounds and solid shoulder ribs to take on demanding, high-scrub applications in environments where stone drilling and rib tearing are the norm. Recommended for steer applications in regional and pickup and delivery truck service, this tire is built for commercial operators who need reliable performance in challenging urban and highway conditions.

Key Features:

• Solid Shoulder Ribs: Enhanced resistance to maneuvering scrub helps extend tire life in high-scrub applications
• Stone Rejectors: Stone rejectors provide resistance to stone drilling, while sidewall protector ribs guard against snags and abrasions
• Stress Relief Sipes: Stress relief sipes fight irregular wear along the main ribs by absorbing edge stresses in the footprint
• Sidewall Protector Ribs: Protect the casing from cuts, snags and abrasions due to curbing and impacts
• Optimized Weight Design: Innovative sidewall design reduces the overall weight to improve mileage and fuel efficiency
• Deep Tread Design: 21/32" tread depth for extended service life
• SmartWay Verified: SmartWay Verified Medium-Duty Truck All-Position Radial tire Suitable for Regional and Urban Service

This tire features an optimized footprint area that spreads the load over a larger surface, distributing footprint pressure to promote long, even wear. The specialized groove shape and tread cap compound work together to resist rib tearing and irregular wear patterns common in demanding commercial applications.
