Prothane 19-1163 20mm Universal Greaseable Sway Bar Bushing Type A Bracket

The Prothane 19-1163 is a universal greaseable sway bar bushing designed to replace worn or soft OEM rubber stabilizer bar bushings with firm, long-lasting polyurethane. Engineered for a 20mm (0.78 inch) sway bar diameter and compatible with Type A style mounting brackets, this bushing delivers a significant upgrade in handling performance and durability over factory rubber.

Key Features:

• 20mm (0.78 inch) bore diameter — fits OE and aftermarket sway bars
• Type A bracket style — bracket height 1-5/16 in., width 1-1/4 in. to 3-5/8 in.
• Grooved bore design — inner grooves retain Prothane Super Grease for quiet, squeak-free operation
• Premium polyurethane construction — resists road grime, oils, and weathering that degrade rubber over time
• Tighter grip on the sway bar — delivers handling improvement comparable to upgrading to a larger diameter sway bar
• Available in red or black — same durometer and performance; black includes a graphite additive as an extra squeak deterrent
• Lifetime warranty — Prothane guarantees against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser's vehicle

Installation is straightforward — apply the included Prothane Super Grease to the bushing bore before mounting to ensure smooth sway bar rotation and prevent noise. Unlike OEM rubber bushings that warp, crack, and lose their grip over time, Prothane polyurethane maintains a secure, consistent fit throughout the life of the part. Sold as a universal fitment; measure your sway bar diameter close to the existing mount to confirm compatibility.
