Product Details

The QA1 AMR5-6 is an AM Series lightweight aluminum male rod end built for performance applications where minimizing weight is a priority. Featuring QA1's exclusive loader slot (Endura) design, this rod end uses a reinforced Nylon 12 race injected with self-lubricating PTFE to create a fully self-sealing, maintenance-free bearing. The 5/16 in. bore pairs with a 3/8-24 right-hand male thread, and the aircraft aluminum 7075-T6 body is finished with a red anodize coating as standard.

Unlike traditional three-piece aluminum rod ends, the AM Series loaded-slot construction delivers increased cross-sectional thickness for superior tensile strength and metal-to-metal support to handle heavy shock loads—making it an ideal choice for suspension links, steering, and other high-stress motorsports applications. The injection-molded race resists pounding out over time, significantly extending service life compared to conventional PTFE liner designs.

This is a great e-retailer. Best price and fast shipping. I ordered a bike rack. The one criticism I would have is the item description could have been better.
