Firestone 015897 Maxi Traction R-1W 420/90R30 147D Agricultural Tractor Tire

The Firestone Maxi Traction R-1W is an advanced agricultural radial tire designed for the rear axles of high-powered tractors, delivering optimal performance both in the field and on the road. This premium tire features a steeper and deeper, variable-angle tread design which starts at a 23° angle and transitions to a 45° taper.

Key Features:

• R-1W lug depth features 25 percent deeper tread than an R-1 tread for enhanced durability and extended wear life
• Dual-angle technology increases contact area for superior traction in various soil conditions
• Curved bar optimizes wear while steeper bar taper resists irregular wear
• R-1W tread and steeper lug angle offers better clean-out and traction capabilities in wet soil conditions
• Steeper bar taper for improved irregular-wear resistance and a more comfortable ride
• Overlapping lug design enhances wear life and improves ride comfort

Designed for high horsepower tractors, combines and harvesters, this tire excels in moderate to wet soil conditions, hilly terrain, and applications requiring superior mud traction. Firestone's testing has demonstrated improved wear rate and more even wear leading to longer overall tire life.
