Firestone 015895 Maxi Traction R-1W Agricultural Tire 420/85R26

The Firestone Maxi Traction R-1W 420/85R26 is a premium agricultural radial tire engineered for high-horsepower tractors operating in demanding field conditions. This tire features an advanced R-1W tread depth with a revolutionary dual-angle lug design that transitions from a 23-degree angle to a 45-degree taper, delivering superior performance across varying soil conditions.

Key Features:

• R-1W extra-deep tread depth provides 25% more wearable volume than standard R-1 tires for extended tire life
• Dual-angle lug face technology increases soil contact area and enhances traction in wet, muddy, and variable field conditions
• Wide, overlapping lugs reduce road vibration and provide excellent comfort during transport between fields
• Curved, steeper bar design resists irregular wear and promotes more even tread wear throughout the tire's lifespan
• Improved self-cleaning properties in muddy conditions compared to traditional 23-degree designs
• Optimized for rear axle mounting on mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD) tractors
• Maximum inflation pressure of 23 PSI for optimal performance

With an overall diameter of 54.4 inches and load capacity of 5,200 lbs, this tire is ideal for combines, high-horsepower tractors, and equipment operating in moderate to wet soil conditions or hilly terrain. The 420/85R26 size (equivalent to 16.9R26) mounts on 15-inch wide rims and delivers the reliability and performance that modern farming operations demand.
