HPS Performance Products FKM-8F-032-BLK Silicone Oil Resistant Hose 5/16" ID 8 Feet Black

The HPS Performance Products FKM silicone hose is engineered for superior chemical resistance in demanding automotive and powersports applications. This high-temperature reinforced hose features a specialized fluoroelastomer (FKM) construction that provides excellent resistance to mineral oils, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics, ozone, oxygen, and many organic solvents and chemicals.

Key Specifications:

• Inside Diameter: 5/16 inch (8mm)
• Length: 8 feet
• Color: Black
• Material: FKM fluoroelastomer silicone with reinforcement
• High temperature rated construction

Recommended Applications:

• Fuel return lines
• Fuel ventilation systems
• Crankcase ventilation
• Turbo oil return lines
• Power steering return lines

Important Usage Notes: This hose is NOT designed to handle continuous flow of alcohol-based fuels (E85, methanol, etc.) and is NOT intended for applications where the hose will be submerged in fuel. The FKM construction makes it ideal for return lines and ventilation applications where fuel vapor or intermittent contact occurs, but a dedicated fuel supply hose should be used for pressurized fuel delivery systems.
