HPS Performance Products FKM-5F-050-BLK Silicone Oil Resistant Hose 1/2" ID 5 Feet Black

The HPS Performance Products FKM-5F-050-BLK is a premium fluoroelastomer (FKM) silicone hose engineered for demanding automotive and powersports applications requiring superior chemical and heat resistance. This 1-ply reinforced hose delivers exceptional performance in fuel system return lines, ventilation circuits, and oil return applications where standard silicone hoses would fail.

Key Features:

• Fluoroelastomer (FKM) construction provides excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, and UV exposure
• Superior chemical resistance to mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics, and many organic solvents
• 1/2 inch inside diameter with 1-ply reinforcement for reliable pressure handling
• 5 feet of continuous length allows for flexible routing and custom installations
• Professional black finish for clean engine bay appearance

Recommended Applications:

• Fuel return lines
• Fuel tank ventilation systems
• Crankcase ventilation (PCV) lines
• Turbocharger oil return lines
• Power steering fluid return lines

Important Usage Notes: This hose is not designed for continuous flow of alcohol-based fuels (E85, methanol) or for submerged fuel applications such as in-tank fuel lines. For pressurized fuel feed lines, use HPS braided stainless steel hose assemblies rated for high-pressure fuel delivery.

HPS Performance Products silicone hoses are manufactured to strict quality standards and provide reliable performance in temperatures and chemical environments that would quickly degrade standard rubber or basic silicone hoses.
