Product Details

The HPS Performance FKM-3F-087-BLK is a high-temperature, oil-resistant silicone hose featuring an internal FKM (fluoroelastomer) liner — also known as Viton or fluorocarbon lining — bonded to a 1-ply polyester-reinforced silicone outer body. With a 7/8" (22mm) inside diameter and a 3-foot straight length, this hose is engineered for demanding automotive, marine, and industrial fluid routing applications where standard silicone hoses would break down from chemical exposure.

FKM fluoroelastomer delivers exceptional resistance to a broad range of aggressive substances, including gasoline, diesel, mineral oils, synthetic hydraulic fluids, ozone, oxygen, aromatics, aliphatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and many organic solvents and chemicals. Its low gas permeability and outstanding heat stability make it a trusted choice across automotive, aerospace, and industrial environments.

The 1-ply polyester reinforcement layer combined with the silicone rubber outer wall provides excellent flexibility and tensile strength, allowing for easy routing while maintaining structural integrity under pressure and thermal cycling.

Key Features:

  • Inside Diameter: 7/8" (22mm)
  • Length: 3 feet
  • Color: Black
  • Construction: FKM (fluoroelastomer) lined, 1-ply polyester reinforced silicone
  • Temperature Range: -65°F to +350°F (-54°C to +177°C)
  • Chemical Resistance: Gasoline, diesel, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, aromatics, ozone, oxygen, and many organic solvents

Suitable Applications:

  • Fuel Return Lines
  • Fuel Ventilation
  • Crankcase Ventilation
  • Turbo Oil Return
  • Power Steering Return
  • Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Lines
  • Breather Lines

Important Limitations:

  • NOT designed for continuous flow of alcohol-based fuels (e.g., E85, methanol)
  • NOT suitable for applications where the hose is fully submerged in fuel

Title

HPS FKM Lined Oil Resistant Silicone Hose 7/8" ID, 3 Foot Length FKM-3F-087-BLK Black

Quick and easy

The way it was described it come with everything you needed and it took over a week to get the product to find out it did not come with the lower unit so now it's going to take another 5 to 10 days to get the rest of the product it should've come with everything it's not a replacement air conditioner

I got what I needed quickly with no hassles. I would recommend Boatplicity to anyone with Johnson or Evinrude motors. Its not too often I have been as thoroughly pleased with online purchases as I am with this one. Kevin K. Long Lake, MN

It was a breeze ordering and getting I was amazed how fast a guy here so thankful for that needed to finish the bottom of my boat.

TOUGH FINDING OLD BOAT PARTS. FINALLY A SOURCE!
