Product Details

Measuring 1.040 inches, these carbon steel retainers provide a reliable, tight-fitting lock that prevents wrist pin migration and protects against costly engine damage during high-performance operation.

Floating wrist pin configurations are preferred by serious engine builders, and the W5314 spiral locks make it possible to convert press-fit pin engines to the floating type—provided the piston has the appropriate lock ring groove. Wiseco's flat wire spiral design seats cleanly into the piston groove for a secure, rattle-free fit that holds up under demanding conditions.

Key Features:

  • Size: 1.040 in. diameter
  • Material: Carbon steel with natural finish
  • Style: Flat wire spiral lock (spiro lock)
  • Designed for floating-pin piston applications
  • Helps prevent wrist pin migration and engine damage
  • Engineered for easy installation and precise fit
  • Compatible with a wide range of automotive, powersports, and racing piston applications

Wiseco has been manufacturing high-performance forged piston components for over 80 years, with products engineered and machined at their facility in Mentor, Ohio. The W5314 spiral locks are a trusted replacement and upgrade component for performance engine builds.

Fantastic place to buy from. They had the best price for K&N oil filters for my motorbikes which was good enough. Then I ordered on a Saturday via normal shipping...got it Tuesday morning! Definitely going to order more in the future.

Fast shipping, exactly what I was looking for, at the best price I could find! Thanks!!

The part I purchased had the lowest price I could find online anywhere.. Simple transaction and fast shipping.. Ordered on a Monday and delivered by Friday..

a lot of their parts are the lowest price you can find. they will always be on my list of autopart dealers for every build
