Dunlop 45154676 D605 Dual Sport Rear Tire 4.60-17

The Dunlop D605 is a versatile dual sport motorcycle tire designed to deliver reliable performance both on-road and off-road at a value-oriented price point. This DOT-legal knobby tire is engineered for light to mid-sized dual sport motorcycles, offering a practical 50/50 balance between street riding and off-road adventure.

Key Features:

• Full tread depth pattern designed for rigorous off-road use, providing excellent traction on hard-packed fire roads and single-track trails
• Tube type (TT) construction with blackwall styling
• P-rated for speeds up to 93 mph, ideal for 650cc and smaller adventure bikes
• 62P load/speed index (265 lbs capacity at maximum pressure)
• Asymmetrical tread pattern with slightly softer sidewalls compared to the D606 for improved street manners
• DOT approved for legal street use while maintaining off-road capability
• 4.60-17 sizing fits popular dual sport models including KLR650, DR650, and similar motorcycles

The D605 strikes an excellent balance for riders who split their time between pavement and dirt. While it excels on fire roads, gravel, and moderate trails, it's less suited for deep mud or extremely aggressive single track. On pavement, the tire provides confident handling through corners and acceptable noise levels during highway cruising. This tire represents exceptional value for adventure riders seeking dependable performance without premium pricing.
