Wiseco 4227M07200 Kawasaki KZ900/KZ1000 12:1 High Compression Forged Piston Kit 72mm Bore

The Wiseco 4227M07200 is a high-compression forged piston kit designed for Kawasaki KZ900 and KZ1000 engines. Built to a 12:1 compression ratio with a 72mm bore diameter (+6mm overbore), this kit delivers the extra compression needed for high-performance street or track applications. Because this is an oversize piston, cylinder sleeving is required.

Each piston is forged from high-silicon aluminum alloy, providing superior strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability compared to cast alternatives. Wiseco's proprietary forging geometry and optimized piston skirt profile are engineered to maximize horsepower and torque output while maintaining long-term durability under hard use.

Kit Includes:

• Forged high-silicon aluminum piston (single)
• Piston rings
• Wrist pin
• Circlips

Key Specifications:

• Bore Diameter: 72.00mm (+6mm overbore)
• Compression Ratio: 12:1
• Ring Part Number: R1075
