Ohlins YA 588 STX 46 Blackline Motorcycle Rear Shock Absorber

The Ohlins YA 588 STX 46 Blackline is a premium monotube rear shock absorber engineered to deliver exceptional performance, quality, and durability for adventure, street, and naked sport motorcycles. This well-proven design represents a significant suspension upgrade over factory equipment.

Key Features:

• 46mm piston diameter for enhanced oil flow and damping effectiveness
• High-pressure gas monotube design with hose-mounted external reservoir
• Hydraulic preload adjuster allows tool-free preload changes to accommodate weight variations
• Adjustable compression damping via adjuster wheel or slot on the reservoir
• Adjustable rebound damping on the single tube shock
• External reservoir provides increased oil capacity for cooler operation in extreme conditions
• Premium construction materials for longevity and corrosion resistance
• Spring rate: 95 N/mm with 65mm stroke

The external reservoir design offers superior thermal management by increasing total oil volume, which keeps the shock cooler during demanding riding conditions while enabling greater adjustability. The hydraulic preload adjustment eliminates the need for tools when making suspension changes for different loads or riding conditions. With independent compression and rebound damping adjustments, riders can fine-tune the shock's behavior to match their specific preferences and riding style.
