Product Details

The Ohlins PI 802 is a high-performance rear shock absorber designed for Vespa Sprint and Primavera 150cc scooters. Part of the premium STX 36 Scooter series, this shock absorber delivers exceptional suspension performance for riders who demand more from their scooter than basic commuting.

Key Features:

  • Monotube high-pressure gas shock absorber with external piggyback reservoir
  • 36mm piston diameter for optimal damping control
  • Adjustable compression damping via adjuster wheel or slot on reservoir
  • Continuously adjustable spring preload for personalized ride tuning
  • Rebound damping adjustment for fine-tuning suspension response
  • 389mm overall length with 87mm stroke
  • Spring rate: 20-28 N/mm
  • Type Code: S36PC1
  • Anodized silver aluminum CNC body with yellow spring

Based on Ohlins' proven STX 36 platform, the PI 802 transforms scooter handling by providing better traction, comfort, and control. The external piggyback reservoir design ensures consistent damping performance even during extended riding. For optimal suspension balance, Ohlins recommends pairing this rear shock with the PI 801 front shock absorber. Includes ABE/KBA 91122 homologation for European applications.

I got what I needed quickly with no hassles. I would recommend Boatplicity to anyone with Johnson or Evinrude motors. Its not too often I have been as thoroughly pleased with online purchases as I am with this one. Kevin K. Long Lake, MN
