Prothane 7-1205-BL Corvette Rear Strut Rod Bushing Kit Black

The Prothane 7-1205-BL is a rear strut rod bushing kit engineered specifically for the C4 Chevrolet Corvette. Prothane's polyurethane construction delivers a significant upgrade over factory rubber bushings, which are prone to cracking, deterioration, and deflection over time — especially under the demanding loads imposed by rapid acceleration and hard braking.

Strut rods play a critical role in maintaining proper suspension geometry and alignment. When the OEM rubber bushings wear out, the result is imprecise handling, increased compliance steer, and accelerated tire wear. Prothane's firmer polyurethane compound eliminates unwanted bushing flex, restoring — and often improving upon — factory suspension geometry and feel.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for 1984–1996 Chevrolet Corvette (C4) rear strut rod bushings
• Manufactured from Prothane's proprietary polyurethane compound for superior durability
• Significantly more resistant to oil, heat, and ozone degradation compared to OEM rubber
• Black color finish blends cleanly with factory underbody components
• Includes all necessary bushings for a complete rear strut rod replacement
• Maintains tighter suspension tolerances for improved handling precision
• Grease fittings or included grease packet ensures long service life with minimal noise

Prothane is a trusted name in performance suspension components, and the 7-1205-BL kit is designed for the enthusiast who demands improved durability and handling response from their C4 Corvette without sacrificing ride quality.
