Wiseco Pistons RCK400407 Piston Ring Compressor Kit 4.000-4.070 Inch Bore

The Wiseco RCK400407 Piston Ring Compressor Kit is an essential tool for professional engine builders and DIY enthusiasts working with engines featuring bore sizes between 4.000 and 4.070 inches. This precision-engineered kit makes piston installation quick, safe, and hassle-free while protecting delicate modern piston rings from damage during assembly.

Key Features:

• Designed for bore sizes ranging from 4.000 to 4.070 inches
• Tapered sleeve design with smooth radius for gentle, even ring compression
• Machined from forged aluminum for exceptional strength and durability
• Hard anodized and Teflon (PTFE) coated for low friction and extended wear resistance
• Prevents ring breakage and cylinder scoring during installation
• Laser marked with Wiseco logo and size for easy identification
• Compatible with all piston brands and ring types

Unlike split band clamp style compressors, Wiseco's tapered sleeve design provides superior precision and control, compressing rings smoothly and evenly as the piston slides into the cylinder bore. This bore-specific tool is particularly valuable when working with today's thin, high-performance piston rings that require a delicate touch during installation. The tapered radius gently compresses the rings as the piston skirt enters, allowing installation with minimal thumb pressure rather than hammering.

Wiseco manufactures these compressor kits using the same precision equipment and forging processes as their renowned performance pistons, ensuring professional-grade quality and reliability. The hard anodized finish and Teflon coating provide long-lasting durability for repeated use in busy shops or home garages.
