Ohlins BMS6I20 Road & Track Rear Shock Absorber for Mini Cooper R56

The Öhlins BMS6I20 is a Road & Track rear shock absorber engineered for the 2007–2014 MINI Cooper and Cooper S (R56 platform). Built on Öhlins' legendary motorsport heritage, this individual rear damper delivers the perfect balance between track-day performance and daily driving comfort.

At the heart of the BMS6I20 is Öhlins' patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology — a system unique to the Road & Track coilover range. By simply turning the gold adjuster knob, the driver can shift between street and race damping modes, simultaneously altering low-speed and high-speed compression and rebound across the damper.

Key Features:

• DFV (Dual Flow Valve) — Patented single-knob adjustability for both compression and rebound damping
• Conventional rear shock absorber design compatible with OEM top mounts
• Ride height adjustable approximately 5–30 mm lower than stock with recommended setup
• Rear spring rate of 60 N/mm for progressive, responsive handling
• Spring preload adjuster for fine-tuned ride height and load balancing
• Rebuildable and revalvable construction for long-term serviceability
• Corrosion salt spray tested to ISO 9227 standards for proven durability
• Backed by a 2-year worldwide limited warranty

Whether you're tackling a weekend track day or navigating everyday roads, the Öhlins BMS6I20 rear shock delivers blistering response times, improved bump absorption, and significantly enhanced grip. The unit is compatible with OEM top mounts, making installation straightforward without requiring additional hardware.
