Product Details

The Manley 28598RHXX is a complete Big Block Chevy 598 CID rotating assembly engineered for high-output street and race applications. Built around a 4.500" stroke and a 4.600" bore with -3cc flat top pistons, this kit targets approximately 10.0:1 compression ratio when paired with 118cc heads. Every component in this assembly is manufactured to Manley's demanding tolerances and requires a 10.200" tall deck block.

Crankshaft:

  • Manley 4340 non-twist lightweight forged steel crankshaft
  • 4.500" stroke
  • Heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, nitrided, and 100% magna-fluxed
  • 2-piece rear main seal design

Connecting Rods:

  • Manley 4340 forged steel H-beam connecting rods — 6.700" center-to-center length
  • 7/16" ARP 2000 cap screws rated to 1,500 HP
  • Heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, nitrided, and 100% magna-fluxed

Pistons:

  • Manley 2618 forged aluminum Platinum Series pistons — 4.600" bore diameter
  • 1.245" compression height
  • -3cc flat top design (Part #698080)
  • Manley premium chromoly wrist pins included
