Ohlins BMS6I01 Rear Shock Absorber BMW 1 Series E8x 3 Series E9x RWD

The Öhlins BMS6I01 is a performance rear shock absorber engineered specifically for BMW 1 Series (E8x) and rear-wheel-drive 3 Series (E9x) applications from 2006 to 2013. Designed and manufactured by Öhlins Racing — a world-renowned Swedish suspension specialist with decades of motorsport heritage — this shock absorber delivers a significant upgrade over the OEM damper in both street and track environments.

Öhlins suspension products are built using the company's proprietary STX twin-tube technology, which provides a precise, consistent damping response across a wide range of road conditions and driving speeds. The result is improved body control, reduced roll, and a more connected, communicative feel through corners without sacrificing everyday ride quality.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM-style fitment for 2006–2013 BMW 1 Series (E8x) and 3 Series (E9x) RWD — rear position
• Öhlins STX twin-tube damper construction for superior ride and handling balance
• Valved specifically for the BMW E-chassis platform dynamics
• High-quality seals and precision-machined internal components for long service life
• Compatible with factory suspension geometry and ride height settings
• Backed by Öhlins' global motorsport engineering expertise

The BMS6I01 is a premium replacement or upgrade solution for drivers seeking sharper handling and more consistent damping performance from their BMW E8x or E9x chassis. It installs in the OEM rear shock position and is compatible with standard BMW suspension mounting hardware.
