Ohlins BMS1I30 Road & Track Front Shock Absorber Left BMW E46 M3

The Öhlins BMS1I30 is a high-performance front shock absorber designed for the BMW E46 platform, including the 3 Series RWD and M3 variants. Engineered by Öhlins — the globally recognized Swedish suspension manufacturer — this unit delivers the precise, controlled damping characteristics that Öhlins is renowned for in both motorsport and performance street applications.

Öhlins shocks use their signature dual-flow valve (DFV) technology, which provides a supple, compliant ride at low shaft speeds while delivering firm, controlled damping under hard cornering and braking loads. This results in improved handling balance, reduced body roll, and better contact patch consistency compared to OEM dampers.

Key Features:

• Öhlins DFV (Dual Flow Valve) monotube damper technology
• Direct OEM-style fitment — no modification required
• Adjustable spring perch for ride height and corner weight tuning (when used with compatible coilover kit)
• Constructed from high-strength steel and aluminum components
• Left front application — sold as individual unit
• Compatible with BMW 3 Series E46 RWD and M3 E46 (2000–2006)
• Manufactured in Sweden to Öhlins motorsport quality standards

The BMS1I30 is part of the Öhlins Road & Track line, bridging the gap between pure race suspension and street-legal performance. It is an ideal upgrade for enthusiasts seeking sharper turn-in response and improved overall chassis dynamics on their E46-chassis BMW.
